HeeKyung Chung

H eekyung Chung was born in Seoul, South Korea. Chung obtained a BFA from the Department of Oriental Painting at Duksung Women's University, Seoul (1995), and an MFA in Printmaking from the Graduate school of Fine Arts at Hongik University, Seoul (2003). Selected solo exhibitions include Mezzotint Works at Cafe de Cielo, Seoul, S.Korea (2019); BELT 2010 at MOIN Gallery, Seoul, S.Korea (2010).

Selected group exhibitions include The 10th International Printmaking Biennial of Douro at Coa Museum, Portugal (2020); Modern Graphics of South Korea at The State Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow, Russia (2020); XIV Biennale International per l'Incisione "Premio Acqui”, Acqui Terme, Italy (2019). Chung’s work is featured in public collections at the Arive Jincheon Print Making Museum in Jincheon, S.Korea, the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Daejeon, and the 63SKY ART museum in Seoul, S.Korea.
