Huda’s experimental approach— through non-traditional layering of mediums such as oil, ink, charcoal and rare pigments — studies divergent standpoints and the possibilities of its diverse interpretations. Her technique and practice has been influenced by Chinese painting, Calligraphy and Printmaking, to Abstract Expressionism and Deconstructivism (Architecture). She approaches art in a meditative kind of way; thus by engaging or leading a constant dialogue of action and reaction in the same manner as she is mixing different techniques and media. Her paintings investigate consciousness and co-existence, with a huge focus on the intricacies of human perception and the conversations it creates in expected or unexpected circumstances. This contrasting energies and fluidity in her work depicts dimensions across time and space, allowing the viewer's imagination to engage with it.
Her work has been shown in several national and international exhibitions including Sardinia, Barcelona, Zanzibar, Thimphu, New Delhi, Beijing, Hangzhou, Xi'an and Shanghai.
