This piece captures the tender moment of a swimmer a fraction of a second before the water surface tension is broken. The effect is a glazed warped figure which seems sealed beneath the water, emotionless and still. All the adrenalin and craze from this competitive moment is sucked out and instead you have a moment which is suspenseful.
