Description
This is one from a collection of 111 paintings that follow a series of characters through a bizarre and troubling night at a party in a manor house.
A long, dark dining table projects out from the door, three places set either side and one on each end. A fireplace projects out of the forest wall to the left, the mantel decorated with little carvings of quatrefoils on either end and held up by colonnettes configured to look as though twisted.
