‘Key’ represents a fragment of a whole, the composition suggesting repetition. This is one of a series of works that explores how we interact with our environment in an increasingly digital world. The image is made up of minimal photographs that have been digitally reduced to block colour, then collaged by hand. The combination of digital and haptic processes and the use of wood for natural warmth reflect our engagement with the spaces we inhabit.
