Inspired by a legend of the Miao people in China, the colors of the painting are local mineral colors, which represent the five elements. The structure of the picture adopts the ancient Chinese traditional structure -- the earth is straight and the sky is round. The border is decorated with Chinese calligraphy from the Yin and Shang dynasties.

A long time ago, there was a young man whose name was Brother Hong. He defeated the bully who oppressed the people and was elected king by the people.

Elder brother red has a beautiful concubine, heart and hand. She used the feathers of a hundred birds sewn into a beautiful "bird clothes", every year, when the festival wear to jump on the hall dance. Wherever she goes, she looks like a flock of beautiful birds flying to the sky. Everyone thought this kind of clothes was a symbol of good luck and beauty, so they followed suit and formed a special costume of the Miao people, which has been handed down till now.
