This print uses dramatic lighting to highlight one of Freyas costumes used in the performance ‘The House is on Fire//The House is not on Fire’. Using a dark, queer humour and satire as devices to explore ideas of miscommunication and propaganda, the performance associated with these costumes is represented in the photography through the juxtaposition of dark, moody lighting and the playfulness of the costumes themselves.
