Perhaps we shall meet again but fail to recognize each other

Curator's Eye

In his work, Kichang Choi focuses on attributes of love and happiness, reconstructing them in a seemingly random process whilst experimenting with different media. Choi works with a variety of influences and styles, using visual repetition as a form of displaying narrative. The results of these experiments are wide-ranging, from layered images of religious iconography, to abstract cosmic compositions. With strong gallery representation, and having already shown in shows such as the Busan Biennale, there is no doubt that the artist is full of potential.
